Hurst Celebrates Outstanding A-level Results with 86.4% of Grades at A*-B

The 2026 cohort of UVI pupils at Hurst have achieved an exceptional set of A-level results, with 86.4% of all grades awarded at A*-B. Almost a quarter of all pupils secured an impressive clean sweep of all A* grades.

The results reflect the hard work, commitment and talent of this year group, who will now go on to a wide range of excellent university destinations.

Strong performances were seen across the breadth of subjects, with pupils studying 26 different A-level subjects. Particularly impressive was 100% of Art pupils receiving either an A* or A grade.

The College’s commitment to academic enrichment was reflected in the EPQ(Extended Project Qualification) with 83 pupils completing the qualification and 99% receiving A*-B grades. BTEC Sport also excelled with all BEC Sport pupils achieving at least one distinction.

Dominic Mott, Head of College said ‘Another outstanding set of results from an incredibly talented hard working year group.’ He added ‘These set of results give our pupils the grades they richly deserve, but importantly, as they leave to go to aspirational, ambitious universities, they are fully prepared for what comes next and I wish them all well.’
