Impressive performance was evident across the school’s broad and holistic curriculum, with 95% of all grades awarded at 9–4.The results continue an exceptional record of academic excellence at RHS, with more than half of all GCSE grades awarded at 9–7 in each of the past three years.

Among this year’s successes, 13 pupils have earned a place in the School’s1933 Club, recognising pupils who achieve grades 9–7 across every GCSE subject.

These achievements reflect the commitment of Year 11 pupils and the support of staff and families throughout their GCSE journey, providing a strong foundation as they look ahead to the next exciting stage of their education.

The results follow only a week after the school celebrated an excellent set of Sixth Form outcomes, further demonstrating the strength of academic achievement across the school. Sixth Form leavers are now looking forward to progressing to a range of destinations from Aerospace Engineering, Marine Biology, Fine Art and Global Humanitarian Studies at leading universities, to prestigious Degree Apprenticeships and careers ranging from professional sailing to the Royal Navy.

Headmaster, Steve Dixon, said:

'We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 pupils and all they have achieved. To see more than half of all grades awarded at 9–7 for the third-year running is a remarkable achievement and testament to the ambition, commitment and high standards of our pupils and staff.

'At RHS, we celebrate academic success, but we also recognise that a pupil’s school journey is about so much more. Today is an opportunity to celebrate everything our Year 11 pupils have achieved along the way; the friendships they have formed, the opportunities they have embraced beyond the classroom, the personal challenges they have overcome, and the confidence and character they have developed.

'We are delighted that so many will continue their journey with us in the RHS Sixth Form this September, alongside the many new pupils and families joining our community. We look forward to seeing them build on everything they have achieved and embrace every opportunity that lay ahead.'
