Fr Simon Everson was the chaplain at non-selective Farleigh before being made head in 2004 – and we hear that he’s a huge hit with pupils and parents alike. The setting is a Georgian house surrounded by woodland in Hampshire’s Test Valley. Catholic values are embedded in daily life here (worth noting that only around 40 per cent who attend are Catholic), with ‘shepherds’ appointed to look after newbies and voluntary mass three times a week....
