FunTech

FunTech has been teaching young people coding since 1996. Day camps last five days (no single days offered) and are held at 18 locations in Greater London, the South-East and one location in the North-West. Sessions are taught in groups of four and offered in a large range of subjects, including 3D modelling, Minecraft engineering, Java coding and cyber security. The summer residential camp is based at Tonbridge School, in Kent, where campers aged eight to 16 can choose from nine courses and stay for as long as two weeks. Hands-on lesson time takes up most of the day, with a chance to chill out and join in social activities in the evening. Year-long ‘academy’ lessons are held online once a week in coding and creative tech; iGCSE and A-level courses in computer science are also offered.
