The three Little Barn Owls nurseries are all inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, which means artists-in-residence help the children get creative in clay, wire and wood in dedicated ateliers. In Southwater, all children take turns at being on the forest-school programme – at least half of their sessions are held in a private, 11-acre forest a few minutes’ drive away. The rest of the time is spent in a renovated barn and large garden....
