Summer Camp Montana

A wholesome, family-run residential summer camp that has been welcoming children from more than 50 countries since 1961. It is based in the beautiful Swiss resort of Crans Montana and offers three sessions of three weeks every summer, although longer stays are possible. It’s enormous, with 400 children attending per session, but the chalet accommodation (most rooms have balconies and amazing views) are grouped by age range, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Montana has its own pool and tennis courts, with a massive range of activities, on and off site, that make the most of its mountain and lake access. Riding is also available. Staff are very international, representing 30 countries, and the pastoral care – not to mention the food – is of an exceptionally high standard.
